There are no side-quests, no unlocks, no special powers, just straight up cooking. The game is the first zankou game with a game world that is based around a regular street. They eat oodles and oodles of noodles, baskets and baskets of bread, and look at the dessert menu before even cracking open the entree section. Like most games that are focused on one style of cooking, the game tries to emphasize the simpler aspects of the style of cooking.
